About VatBlitz

We built this because we needed it

VatBlitz is made by HappyBiz UG in Wolfsburg, out of the frustration of running real multi-entity bookkeeping through Lexware Office with SKR03.

Origin

The evening that started it

Not a market-gap analysis. An actual recurring Tuesday.

Open the inbox. Find the invoice. Open the bank feed. Find the payment. Decide the category we had already decided eleven times before. Type it in. Repeat, for hours, every month, across several entities.

The tools we looked at all wanted the same thing: move your accounting to us. None of them wanted to sit quietly behind Lexware Office and do the boring part. So we built the missing layer ourselves, first for our own books, then for other businesses with the same problem.

That is also why the product is deliberately narrow. We are not trying to become your accounting system, your tax adviser, or your ERP. We automate the data entry and matching that nobody should still be doing by hand in 2026.

How we work

Four principles we do not bend

They come straight from being the customer before we were the vendor.

Honest about the AI

Categorisation is suggestion-based. We say so everywhere, because overselling accuracy in accounting software is how you lose trust once.

Your platform, not ours

No migration, no second system of record. If a feature only works by moving you off Lexware Office, we do not build it.

Roadmap stays labelled

Live features are live. Planned features are labelled planned. You never buy a screenshot.

Built with real books

Every change is tested against real multi-entity bookkeeping before it reaches anyone else's account.
